Raymond CharlesHECTORSadly passed away on 10 August 2026, aged 79 years. A much-loved husband, adored dad, cherished grandad, beloved brother, who will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and the happiness he brought to those around him. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories for those who knew and loved him.

Born in Peverel Road, Ray spent all his life in Leicester, making his home in Fosse Road South and later Una Avenue, before settling in Narborough, where he enjoyed his final years.

His funeral service will take place on Thursday 27 August 2026 at 4.00pm at South Leicestershire Crematorium, Countesthorpe, Leicester.

The family would prefer donations in lieu of flowers and donations can be made to LOROS by visiting the website at loros.co.uk/ways-to-donate-to-loros or there will be a donation box available on the day of the funeral.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we say our final farewell to Ray and celebrate the life of a good man.
